About Us
Presbyterian Preschool Services is the newly established preschool services arm of Presbyterian Community Services (PCS). We have 11 centres across the island.
History
Established in 1974, PCS is a Social Service Agency registered as a charitable body under the Charities Act 1982 and a full member of the National Council of Social Service since 1985.
PCS’ first centre located at Block 113, Bukit Merah View was named “Heng Teck”, offering kindergarten with play and nursery programmes. Its scope of service was later expanded to provide a range of services including infant care, pre-school education, student care, eldercare, financial assistance to families in crisis, and a neighbourhood link project to cater to multi-generational needs of the community.

Our centres have been awarded C-POP in November 2020

10 of our childcare centres have been awarded with the SPARK Certification.
Nov 2018: Awarded the MOE-NCSS Innovation Award for a Trans-disciplinary Teacher Childcare Aide Training initiative.
June 2018: Yishun Centre won second and fifth prize in Teaching Aid-Making Competition organized by Singapore Centre for Chinese Language Limited, a Centre of Nanyang Technological University.
May 2018: Yishun Centre won the first prize in Chinese Story Teaching Aids Competition organised by Committee to Promote Chinese Language Learning.
Sep 2012: Staff received the Outstanding Early Years Educarer Award from Ministry of Social and Family Development.
Mar 2010: Recognized for Valuable Contributions and Exceptional Commitments toward the Success of the MCYS Kindergarten Curriculum Guide Training Workshops for Childcare Personnel.
Nov 2007: Awarded Centre of Specialization in Integrated Childcare for Children with Special Needs by National Council of Social Service.
