Creation C.A.R.E: A Christian Preschool Ministry effort

Updated: 5 hours ago

While all 16 of our Little Olive Tree Preschools by Presbyterian Preschool Services (PPS) are participating in Creation C.A.R.E, we felt that it is not enough just to have our children be involved. We thought, why not expand the reach of Creation C.A.R.E to other preschools, so that more children and families can come alongside us to spread the important message of loving God’s creation.

Thus, PPS invites our partners in the Christian Preschool Ministry to take on Creation C.A.R.E as well every year, since 2022 when the initiative first began.

We believe in the importance of quality early education which nurtures biblical truths and values in children, and are always excited to collaborate and share resources with other preschools with a common purpose of building God’s kingdom.

This way, the ripple effects of the Creation C.A.R.E message are even more pronounced! By impacting the lives of more children, we are creating endless opportunities for communities all over Singapore to be blessed by the message of God’s love and His purpose for us.

With the support of Christian Preschool Alliance, we were able to run Creation C.A.R.E in 43 preschools in 2022 and 32 preschools in 2023, reaching over 5,300 children in total. How wonderful is that!

We were even able to put up 3 public art showcases that featured recycled art displays created by the children from various preschools at high traffic areas like the National Library and One Punggol. Every time, the public were so impressed by the children’s imagination and creativity that produced such vibrant, beautiful artworks. Apart from simply being a feast for the eyes, the public were also able to read up on the deeper messages of the importance of environment care and the children’s aspirations and advocacy for the future world they want to live in.

We look forward to journeying with the children for this year’s project – Rooted in Beauty: A Celebration of Trees, where we will delve into the symbolic parallels between children and trees to discover invaluable life lessons. No doubt, it will be an enriching time of learning and fun!
