In 2026, our focus will be on planting, patience, and growth. We want our children to see themselves as both gardeners of the Earth and gardeners of the heart—learning that just as plants need care to flourish, so do our character and our responsibility toward God’s creation.

Through hands-on experiences such as planting, observing life cycles, and caring for living things, children will develop a deeper understanding of the natural world and the impact of human choices. This project aims to nurture curiosity, responsibility, and stewardship, helping children recognise that their small actions can make a meaningful difference.

Rooted in the Christian call to care for creation, this journey will encourage children to grow in compassion, patience, and courage as they honour and protect the beauty of God’s world.

As they tend the garden God has entrusted to us, they will learn to notice the colours, shapes, patterns, and textures woven into creation—training their eyes to see beauty and their hearts to respond with wonder. This is a journey shaped by process, not performance; by faithful stewardship, not flashy outcomes. And in that quiet, consistent tending, we will pursue excellence—not in the product displayed, but in the character formed and the care shown each day.

What is Creation C.A.R.E?

Creation C.A.R.E. (Children’s Action to Rescue Earth) is a community initiative aimed at inspiring, encouraging, and empowering children to care for the environment and creation. Our goal is to teach children the value of environmental stewardship and equip them with simple, actionable steps to make a positive impact.

Our Hope

Our hope is that caring for creation grows beyond being a one-time, enjoyable project for our children. We aspire for it to nurture a God-honouring mindset that shapes their everyday lives, choices, and habits. Instilling the principles of Creation C.A.R.E. early in life is essential.

Why Creation C.A.R.E?

Children should learn how Earth began: God created everything by His power—light and darkness, sky and sea, land and trees, sun, moon and stars, and all living creatures, including us. God declared His creation good. Because God loves what He made, we’re called to love and care for it too, acting as responsible stewards of the earth.

The Bible highlights three key reasons why we should care for creation:

God Himself says that His creation is very good and beautiful.

(Genesis 1:31)

God commanded humans to take care of creation

(Genesis 1:28 & 2:15)

We only have one earth, and that is the earth we live in.

We want it to be clean and healthy.
